An(other) South+

CROSS PATTERNS: PATHS TO BE ABLE TO RETURN by Bárbara Palomino is a multimedia installation inspired by the emergence and polysemic meaning of the geometric patterns called Kené by the Shipibo-Konibo indigenous group in the Peruvian Amazon, and by Palomino’s interest in the development of technologies based on various already established navigation methods, ancient textile techniques and representation mechanisms.
