RASTROS en diálogo

Rastros brings together videos created for the edition of Relatos Visuales, an initiative organised by RASTRUMS- Espacio de pensamiento colectivo around the theme of time. I participated in a group coordinated by invited chilean artist and curator Patricio Vogel.

The project invited each participant to produce new images as elements of a collectively composed visual narrative. Rather than autonomous or finished artworks, these contributions were conceived as fragments capable of generating associations, exchanges, and dialogue between the participating artists. The resulting narrative was developed and published online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Within this context, Rastros refers to what an image retains: a gesture, an interval, a transformation, or the remains of something that has already taken place. The videos approach time indirectly through visual traces whose meanings shift when placed in relation to other images.

Developed through a rapid and relatively spontaneous process, the videos became part of a narrative assembled collectively through remote conversations and the exchange of audiovisual material.
